FAQ

Whether this is your first time working with a tutor, or you’ve had a bad experience in the past, I highly recommend booking a 15-minute intro call. During this time, we can talk about what you’re looking for in a tutor, and I can share more about my approach to tutoring. I want both of us to have a great experience, so if I don’t think that I’m the best fit for your needs, I’ll be honest with you!

Ideally, I would love to meet once a week on a regular basis. If you would like to meet more than once a week, or on a casual basis, I’d be happy to discuss that with you. The pricing is per session, so your timeline for starting, pausing, or no longer working with me is completely up to you.

I plan to meet at the Amy Van Andel Library (Ada) for all in-person sessions. I am also open to meeting at Schuler Books on 28th Street, if that is closer for you. Please note that I will only meet in public spaces.

If we are meeting virtually, we will always meet using the Google Meet link that I will provide you. The link will be emailed to you via FWTRTutoring@gmail.com.

You will not need to purchase any materials for us to work together. For my storytime sessions, I will provide 2-3 book options that I will borrow from the library. I will also provide any supplies needed for games/activities. For my college prep sessions, you will need access to a notebook and a writing utensil, or a computer.
